WELCOME to the Mariposa Marketplace in the Historic Trabucco Building. You will enjoy a variety of shops on two floors featuring arts and crafts, antiques, collectibles, exquisite jewelry, clothing and gifts. We also feature Alpaca Products, a Baby Department and Home Store with window valances.
Built in 1896, the 4000 square foot two-story Historic Trabucco Building offers a beautifully restored old fashioned shopping experience. Many features such as the tin ceiling, rock wall face, iron staircase, granite foot thick walls and steel shutters are original.
Once Again We Gave The Store A Fresh New Look
If you are looking for unique gifts or fun decor you are bound to find it here. The atmosphere in our cozy store makes it enjoyable to just look around for the fun of it or pick up those needed items of soaps, loofas, alpaca socks, retro candies and sodas. There are things to keep us warm like Pashminas, capes, gloves and the list goes on and on.
Michael has a large selection of his unique shirts, aprons and bolts of his specialty fabrics plus Mariposa coffee! He is also known for his wonderful candles, gifts, accessories, retro candies & retro toys along with old fashion labeled sodas!
Dee is located on both floors; upstairs is Dee's Vintage Kitchen, full of kitchen utensils that you may need and some that are very hard to find. Dee's Notion Corner is up there too, with new and vintage notions, threads and yarns. Downstairs in the back corner is Dee's Treasure Chest of Vintage and Antique items. While back there you will walk right by Chuck's Treasure Chest of estate jewelry and coins on your way to the stairs.
Becky has her beautiful jewelry ready for you if you have a special event, for every day or for a unique gift. She is well known for her hand made items, her glass beads and jewelry made from typewriter keys and watch parts.
Marsha's booth is full of beautiful furnishings, accessories, lighting and don't miss her adorable pet supplies along with her very popular Man Booth upstairs.
Celee keeps us in fashion with her Pashminas, capes and sparkling in her jewelry. She is located towards the back also next to the beautiful rock wall on the first floor. Celee is a local artist and accomplished painter, pieces of her work are for sale in her booth along with a large collection of her lighted canvas pictures.
John and Caren have the Alpaca booth that was upstairs, they are now downstairs next to the rock wall. It is much easier to run in to pick up a pair of those wonderful socks! Not to mention a hug of the softest teddy bears in the world!
Winterstrom Ranch with goat's milk soaps, lotions, oils along with very popular felted soaps and dryer balls is located upstairs on the shelf that Linda had for years before retiring but we still have some of Linda's loofas and her lavender soap for sale in this booth and downstairs near the stairs.
Faded Elegance is on the second floor and is full of unusual items. Be sure to see the "Prize Candles" with a valuable ring inside that can be valued up to $5,000. A new addition is "Bill's Library", want a book on cats, this is the place to find it.
Madeline and Carolyn's Oldies But Goodies on the 2nd floor is known as "The Elvis and Coca Cola Booth", they also have many collectibles and a large variety of memorabilia.
Dana with her "Dream Ponies" booth full of horse theme items, tack and saddles is the corner booth 2nd floor full of Cowboy and Cowgirl items.
Brandon and Carrie are now at the top of the stairs with a huge collection of vinyl records with very good prices. You can also find some very rare albums. You will be greeted by a family of redwood carved bears , along with carved wood signs and custom available. There are many other interesting and unique items in this booth.
Hava's Vintage Wonderland is in located next to the Old Miner in the back of the store with a Alice in Wonderland theme. Her handmade jewelry is in the curio case along with many other interesting and unusual pieces. Hava's custom finished furniture is also featured throughout the store.
Anna is on the first floor in the middle of the store with her wonderful "Snoozie's!" These are fun and comfy slippers and socks. Anna has expanded her area to featuring many new items. Her text gloves are in and flying out the door! There is a lot to see in this booth along with Ornament Socks, a great gift for the holdidays, hand made bows, her very popular custom badge holders.
The Baby booth has new items and designer labels too and now extended with a toddler section and of course baby Snoozies. Across from the Baby Booth is the iron booth, with a western flair and humorous tin signs. We now have "Outdoor Snoozie's and Men's Snoozie's all on the first floor.
We are welcoming several new vendors who are bringing in more vintage and collectibles, Meerschaum Pipes and mosaic glass votives and lamps. The store is packed and there truly is something for everyone.
In the back of the store you can visit the Old Miner and get your fortune told.
