WELCOME to the Mariposa Marketplace in the Historic Trabucco Building. You will enjoy a variety of shops on two floors featuring arts and crafts, antiques, collectibles, exquisite jewelry, clothing and gifts. We also feature Alpaca Products, a Baby Department and Home Store with window valances.
Built in 1896, the 4000 square foot two-story Historic Trabucco Building offers a beautifully restored old fashioned shopping experience. Many features such as the tin ceiling, rock wall face, iron staircase, granite foot thick walls and steel shutters are original.
Once Again We Gave The Store A Fresh New Look
If you are looking for unique gifts or fun decor you are bound to find it here. The atmosphere in our cozy store makes it enjoyable to just look around for the fun of it or pick up those needed items of soaps, loofas, alpaca socks, retro candies and sodas. There are things to keep us warm like Pashminas, capes, gloves and the list goes on and on. We have done some re-arranging and painting, the store looks new again.
Michael has a large selection of his unique shirts, aprons and bolts of his specialty fabrics plus Mariposa coffee! He is also known for his wonderful candles, gifts, accessories, retro candies & retro toys along with old fashion labeled sodas!
Dee is located on both floors; upstairs is Dee's Vintage Kitchen, full of kitchen utensils that you may need and some that are very hard to find. Dee's Notion Corner is up there too, with new and vintage notions, threads and yarns. Downstairs in the back corner is Dee's Treasure Chest of Vintage and Antique items. While back there you will walk right by Chuck's Treasure Chest of estate jewelry and coins on your way to the stairs.
Becky has her beautiful jewelry ready for you if you have a special event, for every day or for a unique gift. She is well known for her hand made items, her glass beads and jewelry made from typewriter keys and watch parts.
Marsha's booth is full of beautiful furnishings, accessories, lighting and don't miss her adorable pet supplies along with her very popular Man Booth upstairs.
Shari is located underneath "Mo" the good luck deer head in the back, Mo looks over Shari's booth that is filled with beautiful, fun and useful items along with her very popular bracelets.
Celee keeps us in fashion with her Pashminas, capes and sparkling in her jewelry. She is now in the center of the first floor. Celee is a local artist and accomplished painter, pieces of her work are for sale in her booth.
John and Caren have the Alpaca booth that was upstairs, they are now downstairs next to the rock wall. It is much easier to run in to pick up a pair of those wonderful socks! Not to mention a hug of the softest teddy bears in the world!
Linda is on the back wall upstairs and there you will find her wonderful selection of home grown loofas and hand made soaps and lotions. She has added many unique items to her area.
Faded Elegance is on the second floor and is full of unusual items and the well known Shabby Chic designs. Be sure to see the "Prize Candles" with a valuable ring inside that can be valued up to $5,000. A new addition is "Bill's Library", want a book on cats, this is the place to find it.
Wendy is our newest vendor with her own brand of women's clothing, "Locogal". She has colorful fashions in all sizes along with accessories. She is located right next to Faded Elegance upstairs.
Madeline and Carolyn's Oldies But Goodies on the 2nd floor is known as "The Elvis and Coca Cola Booth", they also have many collectibles and a large variety of memorabilia.
Brandon and Carrie are new vendors on the 2nd floor with a huge collection of vinyl records with very good prices. You can also find some very rare albums. You will be greeted by a family of redwood carved bears , along with carved wood signs and custom available. There are many other interesting and unique items in this booth.
Jackie has moved under the window upstairs with her varied collection of unique items, artwork and books. Her jewelry cases are now downstairs next to the stair case.
At the top of the stairs is a new Home Store with a large variety of window valances and home accessories.
Anna is on the first floor near the stairs with her hand made bows, tutu's and her new and very popular custom badge holders. Mitzee shares this area with her hand made earrings and totes.
The Baby booth has new items and designer labels too with a toddler addition to be added in April. Across from the Baby Booth is the iron booth, with a western flair and humorous tin signs.
In the back of the store you can visit the Old Miner and get your fortune told. Next to The Old Miner is Hava and her Vintage Wonderland Decor displaying her custom, hand crafted furniture, accessories and jewelry. She now has has more of her furniture on the second floor.
